In this episode, internet entrepreneur and website flipper, Mushfiq, reveals his step-by-step process for buying and selling websites for 6-figure pay days. You’ll learn how to find high quality websites that are ripe for flipping, as well as the due diligence process you need to go through to make sure you’re getting a good deal.

Mushfiq is the founder of the website TheWebsiteFlip.com where he teaches people how to flip websites for profit.

How to flip a website

He does so in five succinct set of steps.

Buying the Site

When you are thinking about buying a website, there are a lot of things to consider. You need to make sure that the site is worth the price, and that it is going to be profitable for you in the long run. You also need to think about the technical aspects of buying and running a website.

Stabilizing The Site

After purchasing a website, the next step is to stabilize the site. This means making sure that all of the links are working and that no broken images or text are present. In addition, it’s important to make sure that all of the pages are indexed by search engines. Also changing out the monetization so that you begin getting the revenue.

Other things to consider is improving the site speed, making it smoother, reorganizing it if necessary. Also, optimizing the content for Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO). Basically whipping it into shape.

Growing The Site

SEO is the process of optimizing a website for Google search with the goal of earning higher web traffic levels and improving the visibility of the site.

One way to improve your website’s SEO is to focus on low competition keywords. These are keywords that have relatively low monthly search volume (0 to 10,000) but moderately high commercial intent. Or going strictly informational with the content is a good idea as well.

Optimizing for the Exit

When you are looking to optimize your website for the sale of that site, there are a few key things you need to keep in mind. One of the most important is making sure your site is easily found by potential buyers. You can use places like Flippa.com and MotionInvest.com

Also consider leaving some monetization strategies on the table to help with the sale of it.

Exiting the Site

When you’re ready to sell your website, there are a few things you need to do in order to get the process started. First, you’ll need to create a listing and provide all the necessary information about your website. This will include the site’s URL, its age, traffic stats, and a brief description of what it is.

Once the sale goes through, this is where the big bucks start rolling in.

Conclusion
